Em and I ran to Lo.we's the other day so that Em could grab a few things. I brought along my camera so that I could take some shots of the flowers at the Outdoor Center. I love this picture that I took of a rose. It's actually the first shot I took that day.Marissa, from my last post, passed away peacefully yesterday morning. I am sad, but happy that she is no longer in any pain. I can't believe how quickly it all happened... just a few weeks ago I was reading her mother's beautiful writing about Marissa and her sister playing together. Please send good thoughts or prayers to the Monroe family.
I've decided to go home for a little while to live with my mom and my sister. We're leaving this weekend for staff training, and I'm going to stay at home until PACAA, and then I'll come back to NC after PACAA ends. I just feel like I want to be at home. Leaving last week felt horrible, for some reason I got really upset when we were leaving.
Not much has been going on. I am meeting with my study abroad advisor next week to get the classes approved that I plan on taking next spring. After I get them approved, I am almost halfway through the process! I can't wait to just be accepted into the program so that I know exactly what I'm doing.

you're really going to be home for a bit. that makes me happy. i really miss you. i'm sorry tho because i know you will miss nc a lot. the pictures are beautiful, please keep posting them, because i broke my camera and now have no pictures :( so i'll live vicariously through you.
