Pat Burrell, Manager Charlie Manuel, Jimmy Rollins, Cole Hamels, Shane Victorino, and the Police Motorcade!
I have more photos posted on facebook...
I was supposed to meet up with Lindsey and Megan, but the second that Dan and I arrived in the city, we realized it was going to be a problem to get from where we were to where they were! We walked towards the subway station, but never even made it there! They reported on the news that there were over 2 million people there for the parade - CRAZY! We eventually just had to pick a spot and stay there, or else we felt we would have missed the parade trying to get down Broad to where Lindsey and Megan live.
We were lucky enough to only have one row of people in front of us, so we were able to get some great photos and see everything perfectly!!
The city was so ALIVE and there was such a sense of camaraderie... it was great! I was so impressed with everyone and their behavior. Philly fans tend to have a bad reputation (of all of the sports, but mostly the Eagles I think). I'm sure there was some destruction going on at some points, but I was happy to be surrounded by families and (mostly) well behaved sports fans. We had a great time! Let's do it again next year!!

too bad we couldn't meet up - i got a great spot right on the rope. when the parade started a couple kids stood in front of me, but i had a great view. i wish i had my longer (broken) lense for my camera, you got some great close up shots. the crowds near me were good too, nothing too crazy.
go phillies!
